Would you rent textbooks from other students?
A better textbook rental solution

MyUMBC has at times been the place for students to buy and sell textbooks from students, but has anyone considered renting their textbooks instead?
I know of a couple students who tend to hold onto their textbooks after their done with them, so it got me thinking. If you do not have an immediate use for the textbook and it is still being used the following semester, instead of letting it collect dust, make money by renting it out.
I used to rent textbooks from internet based rental services but their pricing in recent times have been high enough where it makes buying them more attractive. Renting from students could be cheaper and more convenient (local pickup, no shipping costs).
Two questions.
