A responsibility for change

Okay, now that I'm calmer you asked for it. After what happened here I think we should take a critical look at the system that we have in place and start working towards making changes to it. I don't often hear of people actually working towards it, just talking about it. The article there talks about those who don't have to go through the same things the people in the city do and how we should use this time as a prompt to start to reevaluate ourselves and our society and start thinking of ways to make it better.
I don't care who started what, but when the city gets to the point of....this...it means something needs to be fixed. Badly. Preferably now.
If someone has already been working towards change in the police then I sure haven't heard of it and we need to change that. but something needs to be changed.
