Affordable furnished housing near UMBC
Currently, one of my roommate is moving out as he is moving closer to work. Consequently I will have 1 room available August 1st: A furnished 13 by 12 room on the second floor ( study desk and chair and twin bed with mattress)
I have been living in the townhouse for 2 years and am a 3rd year graduate student at UMBC. I have furnished the townhouse completely and thus will remain so despite my roommates moving out. I am looking for an individual for the room.
Your share for the bedroom will be $550 all inclusive of utilities(gas,electric,hi-speed Internet) There is no security deposit for the room as I had paid the security deposit myself 2 years ago.
The townhouse is 0.8 miles from UMBC and on the arbutus bus line. It takes me 3 min or driving or 20 min of walking to get to campus from my place. It is also conveniently located to the highway as well as giant, mars and other convenience stores. Parking is plentiful and I have come home as late as 1 am and had no trouble finding a place to park my car. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are mostly other UMBC students/ small families.
As far as a quick blurb about me :I am an easy going, hardworking , music and nature loving individual who spends most of his time at UMBC. I would like my potential roommate to be clean and respectful and pay rent in a timely manner and not have pets.( I love animals but they are a nightmare to clean after when everyone has a busy schedule)If anyone is interested, I can show the property on any weekend.
