I want to clarify some misconceptions that are floating around based on the Q&A published by TRW. I don't support +/- grading, that's just how we refer to the initiative

The editor specifically asked me about my work as SGA Director for the Department of Academic Affairs. I brought up the +/- grading initiative since I felt that this was an important issue that many students would be familiar with and care about. Academic Affairs, in the past, has played a major role in figuring out how undergraduate students feel about the +/- system and keeping in contact with the faculty senate that is FOR the transition. Not much has been done on the initiative as of late because the faculty senate that is FOR +/- grading hasn't been particularly responsive. Dialogue over this matter has begun once again, but it is not something I'm emphasizing within my campaign.

TLDR:

• This +/- grading initiative has nothing to do with my campaign. 

• I do not support transition to +/- grading

• Most UMBC students do not support +/- grading (based on a myUMBC poll released by SGA Department of Academic Affairs) 

• SAY 'HI' BACK.
