Looking for a fun, interesting, and relevant summer course to take? Need to knock out a GEP requirement before graduation? Check out the exciting course offerings from GWST!
GWST/AMST 210: Critical Sexuality Studies. This is a hybrid course, taught in the first 4 week session, and meets either the SS or Culture GEP credit. There will be a special focus on the history of sexuality and sexuality in a cross-cultural perspective.
GWST 310/AMST 310: Gender and Inequality in America. This is another hybrid course, offered in the first six week session. It meets Monday afternoons and meets the Arts and Humanities GEP. this section focuses on issues of immigration and the prison industrial complex.
GWST 340: Women, Gender, and Gloablization. This in-person course meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings of the first six week session and meets either the SS or Culture GEP.
GWST 290: Issues and Phases in Women's Health. This fully online course meets in the second six week session and offers a unique approach to thinking about health.
GWST 338: Women, Gender, and Law. This in-person course meets Monday and Wednesday evenings in the second six week session and meets the SS GEP requirement. It is taught by a law professor, so those interested in legal professions will be especially interested!
