CMSC 341 Programming Competition- Looking for team!
posted over 9 years ago
Hey all, I don't know if you got Lupoli's email or not, but there's a programming competition going on on May 1st. The only problem is, I need a team in order to join!
I'm a very motivated and dedicated programmer, in fact I've been programming since I was in 7th grade, when I started learning C++! I started Java in my freshman year in high school and quickly advanced my knowledge as I began to program my own AI systems, a network-capable skype clone with file transfer support, and I even recently finished a game engine for a galaga-esque 8-bit style video game complete with an audio/collision manager!
As for experience with programming competitions, I've been competing in American Computer Science league competitions since my sophomore year of high school and I even competed in the UMD programming competition in 2011, where our team placed 11th out of 33. Most recently, I entered a solo CS competition at St. Mary's College of MD (where I attended previously) and managed to win 1st place in my freshman year! Let me know if you're interested in joining my team, or if you already have a team I can join!
