Snow Policy: Utilizing my right to beat a dead horse
posted almost 10 years ago
I do realize I am beating a dead horse so I'll keep it brief:
1) It is completely ridiculous that UMBC is opened today based on many closures in the area due to the same 'inclement weather'.
2) Though the campus is becoming more residential, a large amount of students still commute to UMBC daily. Just because campus has been shoveled and salted just enough to avoid lawsuits does not mean that the poorly maintained back roads I have to (have to as in no other options) take to get back home will wait to re-freeze (if they ever thaw in the first place) until I am safely in my house this evening.
