Freshmen participants for interviews!
Do you identify as East Asian-American?
posted almost 10 years ago
Hello! My name is Yoo-Jin Kang and I am currently a senior in the Interdisciplinary Studies and Modern Languages and Linguistics Department.
I am currently conducting an independent research project focusing on perceptions of intimate relationships and violence in the East-Asian community. Specifically, I am looking to interview 6 freshman students, 3 male-identified and 3 female-identified, who also identify as East-Asian American. I would like to interview students raised by parents born in an East-Asian country.
If you would be willing and interested, please email me at ykang2@umbc.edu with subject line: “East- Asian American Interview” with your name, your year in school, and a description of your family background. If it looks like this would be a good fit, we will set up an interview time and place that works for you.
Thank you in advance for your time and your interest. If you have any questions please contact me or my supervisor, Professor Bambi Chapin, at bchapin@umbc.edu.
