I could hear the sirens and see the lights flashing while I was at work this morning. I've shopped at the Owings Mills mall. I USED TO LIVE IN THE COMMUNITY WHERE THE FIRST SHOOTING TOOK PLACE! New York is over 4 hours away. It is only through bad luck that turned into my town's good fortune that this community was spared a shooting spree this morning.
If you were wondering what effect all your Mike Brown Eric Garner protests had, there you go. You made the town I call home a dangerous place this morning. At least he did us all a favor by not allowing the cops to get to him. Now we don't have to deal with a new situation people want to protest.
We just have to deal with jumpy cops worried about getting killed for no reason. That's gonna make America a real safe place now. Not like any accidental killings by police are going to occur from that.
