Duty.
Duty drives you to act, not just for your self, but for others.Your family.
Your friends.
Your fellow students.
Your brothers.
Lambda Chi Alpha at UMBC recognizes that It's On Us to stand up for those around us.
By acting upon.
By acknowledging.
By spreading the awareness of the responsibility we all have as human beings to each other.
Sexual Assault can come in many forms.
It can come with any number of excuses.
It's On Us to show that we
As a Greek community
As a school system
As a nation
As people of the world
Will accept none of them
We recognize the assault for what it is.
It's On Us to do so.
It's On Us to support one another with compassion and dignity and to stand up for what is right.
Not just to use words to express our dissatisfaction with a wrong that exists,
But to take an active role
In any situation we can
To end sexual assault.
It's not just a women's issue
It's everyone's issue
And It's On Us to something about it.
