What do you think about the internet sales tax? Is this right or wrong? Why?
Do you think this will help or hurt the economy and the internet?
For me, this type of move is completely wrong because this will only bring ruin by taxing more of the people's income. The U.S. Congress (referring to the Senate) and President Obama is determined to implement this if this bill called the Marketplace Fairness Act of 2013 passes (which I don't think it will pass for now). Since we are nearing the midterm elections soon, we won't know for sure but this type of sales tax is not going to work despite brick-and-mortar stores lobbying for it!
Maryland has required Amazon to collect online sales tax from customers living in MD since October 1st of this year! This will only lead to being taxed more money from us! We should not have to bear the burden of the internet sales tax!!
