Recycle to Win a Bicycle!

Are you an avid cyclist looking for a brand new bike? Or maybe a new bike would make a great gift for someone you know. Winning a new bike for free is as easy as recycling! All you have to do is recycle your bottles and cans on campus at the PepsiCo Dream Machines. Bring your receipt with your name and student ID printed legibly on the back and drop it in the box at the Campus Card Center for your chance to win a brand new bicycle. The Dream Machines are located in the Community Center and in Harbor Hall. The contest runs from September 22 - November 21st, 2014.
Recycling on campus not only benefits the environment and helps UMBC to become a greener campus through sustainability but it also rewards you! For each can or bottle you recycle at the Dream Machine, you will receive points that can be redeemed for prizes including entertainment, dining, and more! Right now UMBC is ranked 10th among all participating United States colleges with 2313 as the average number of recycled containers per kiosk. Check out the standings here!
Using the PepsiCo Dream Machines also benefits veterans by providing support to further the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities' mission to provide training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post 9/11 veterans with disabilities resulting from military service.
