Don't spend spring break stuck doing homework.

I wanted to create this discussion to tell everyone about an exciting ravel opportunity for spring break.
This year over spring break, the Human Rights brigade for Global Brigades is going to Panama to volunteer working with family legal cases, legal clinics, education workshops, and to promote community involvement and empowerment.
I wanted to extend this information to anyone who might be interested, regardless of your major. You just need to be enthusiastic about human rights!
This is a great opportunity for students to practice their Spanish (although this is not required), learn about a different culture, meet some really great people, and help a rural community create a sustainable legal system that they can participate in.
We will be having our first official meeting on Wednesday, October 1st during free hour (I will update the location when it is confirmed) where we will go over all the details about the trip including transportation, lodging, cost, fundraising, and the activities that we will be doing. You can also find more info about the program on our MyUMBC page.
If you are interested and would like to receive email updates, please fill out the membership form located in the "documents" section.
