My friends and I are looking for someone to take over my part of our lease for a 3-people townhouse in Columbia, MD, near the intersection of Guilford Rd. and Oakland Mills Rd. (http://www.apartmentguide.com/apartments/Maryland/Columbia/Oakland-Place-Townhomes/82997/). The lease ends on May 31st 2015.

It is a newly constructed townhouse that has a spaceous kitchen and living room with hardwood floor, and a deck with a wooded view. Full-size washer and dryer. Plenty of public parking and easy access to Snowden River Parkway and MD-175, and close to MD-32 and I-95.

The total rent is $2,075/month, but you will only need to pay $654 (plus utilities) for two rooms in the townhouse; one is 10x10 and can fit a queen-size bed and more, and the other is 8x9 and can be used as an office space (please look at the attached floor plan). You would also get one full bathroom. The utility costs are split evenly between the tenants.

The master bedroom, the family room, and the 1-car garage are occupied by the other two occupants. Nonetheless, you would have shared use of the living room, kitchen, and deck. Please contact jc14@umbc.edu for more info.
