Hi Aaron, I'm the President of the Arab Student Union and we are the ones responsible for posting these fliers all around campus. We are collaborating with the Organization of Arab Students at UMD and both of our group names are mentioned on the flyer, right next to Islamic Relief USA. As for Islamic Relief and why we chose to work with them: They are one of the few organizations that actually have offices in Gaza and Syria. This means that while many organizations may be generally helping out with rebuilding efforts, Islamic Relief provides emergency relief to these areas.
