I've been part of a pretty large DMV car club for 5 years and recently left it (turned into a dinner club where each member had a nice car) and I'm in the works of starting my own. I already have about 20 prospective members that I know personally outside of UMBC and scattered throughout MD and VA, but I've been noticing the lack of automotive enthusiast organization at UMBC doesn't make sense for how many nice cars are floating around on campus. So, would you be interested in joining a car club? We'd be extremely organized, non-tolerant of any immaturity, and I already have a few local shops that would give discounts to active members. I'm pretty excited to have a proper car club back in my life, I absolutely love the hobby and enjoy seeing how other people feed off of it.
