Hello All. I wanted to know if anyone is as excited about the start of the all electric racing series "Formula E" as I am! This is spin off of Formula One and racing at it's highest level except without gas engines. The impact a racing series like this will have on our everyday transportation cannot be overstated. Advancements in battery tech, range, power, and efficiency, will trickle down into the cars we drive. If you love racing and care about the environment this is a great event for you.

The first race happens in China on Sept 13th, 2014. The time is 0400hrs to 0500hrs UMBC standard time. I want to get together with some others to celebrate this event around 0300 hrs and catch the race and some of the festivities.
