I am Henan, and a Ph.D. student in department of computer science and electrical engineering. My advisor is Dr. Jian Chen.
Now we are running the visualization experiment. Here is some information of our IRB.
Title: Design and evaluation of visualization methods for scalar, vector and tensor fields and graphs
IRB #: Y13JC37010
IRB #: Y13JC37010
Current end date: 08/10/2015
Here is the information of our experiment.
What you will do: You will look at some visualization showing results from quantum physics simulations. (The data came from a physicist)
Requirement: Your major must be either chemistry or physics or mechanical engineering or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Math or Information Systems. (We hope our participants have science background. Thus if you are interested in our experiment please feel free to send emails to henan1@umbc.edu.)
When: August 24 - August 28, 2014.(the early the better. )
Duration and payment: The study will take from one and half hours to two hours. And you will be paid $12/hour for your time and effort.
