How long does it take you to write a paper?

How long does it typically take you to write a research/essay paper? Just writing after you have already completed research, outlining, and such.
I know papers vary in length depending on the class, teacher, and assignment but what is your time on average? If you write pieces throughout the day or week (or month), try to tally up the length of time.
