Time for me to hang up the gloves and call it quits
Restoring a Time Honored Tradition

Yep, it is about that time I think. I'm not getting any younger and at this point. I think the fact that most of the Old Guard has (or should have) moved on by now is my cue to leave as well.

So many ways I can end this though, I wonder which one I should choose...
I could always go out with a bang, make up some long winded rant and accuse everyone of being "immature". Of course, I don't have the prerequisite feat of pissing everyone on myUMBC off from every side within less than a week, nor do I want to. I suppose sanity has its downsides sometimes.
Nah, instead I think I might go for the long winded speech about why I am leaving, how it benefits me and how myUMBC is a blight upon mankind or something. I do like writing long drawn out stuff so this would normally be right up my alley...
Except I'm feeling kinda lazy today and I don't wanna do it. Seems like the more effort you put into a farewell thread the more likely you are to get sucked back in to myUMBC later.
So I could just throw something out along the lines of a "what do you think of such and such people on this forum?" Last time we saw that it was interesting to watch the sparks fly. I'm sure it TOTALLY wasn't meant as an attack thread in disguise. That sort of thing would NEVER happen here!
But there is one thing I will do, and that is making clear that once I am done with this thread I am leaving myUMBC for good.*
So farewell guys, it's been real, and look me up if you all wanna get in contact with me (some people here already have my info but it is brb1@umbc.edu).
