How often do people drop classes? I am currently waitlisted for IS 310 and I was just wondering what the chances are that I will be able to enroll in the class. I am 7th in position and the total number of students is 40. I e-mailed the professor and he said he will take a few extra students but certainly not 7 extra students. Anyone care to share your experiences with being waitlisted for classes. I read online that said something about 20% of the students drop or switch the class.
