Perhaps.
Originally, IHTFP is an MIT and Stanford phenomenon amongst undergraduates in their ultimate and penultimate semesters.
It manifests as a lassitude, an indifference to the external pressures of academe. IHTFP is historical, but most succinctly acronymizes,
"I Hate This Fucking Place,"
an utterance without emotion, an acknowledgment of the arbitrariness of undergraduate strictures without the deeper understanding that the strictures are for those who need them.
