The Happy, Inspirational Thread
posted over 13 years ago
As per suggestion here by Andrew, I'm making this thread to help improve the quality of the myUMBC forums by making a positive, happy thread full of inspiring stuff. Besides, people are stressed out with exams this week and might need something to calm them down. Please paw and make someone else's day a little brighter (at least until they have their exam).
Find positive videos, pictures, and text and post them here. The person with the best posts wins one million Internetz. Please don't put too many things in one post because not everyone here has fast Internet; hence, be considerate of other people.
Do not troll or post something controversial or offensive. Just about every other thread on myUMBC is for that, so there's plenty of places where those posts are more fitting. This is for something that is positive, inspirational, happy, or otherwise contributive to a good atmosphere, the kind of atmosphere a university website should have.
Anything goes here as long as it compiles with the above guidelines. Quotes, images, videos, or anything else (even games) you think would help contribute to a better atmosphere for myUMBC, the kind of atmosphere you would be proud for your school to have, are encouraged. Remember, this campus is a diverse campus so all sorts of things are welcome as long as it isn't something that is inviting controversy, flaming, or trolling.
