Bringing A Mattress to UMBC

If I already have a Twin XL mattress at my house, can I bring it with me to school in the fall?
During my visit, I was told it doesn't matter what I do with the furniture, as long as it is returned before the end of the school year.
Can I bring my own mattress?

If you don't want to use the mattress that's provided, I don't think there's anything preventing you from bringing your own. However, you would need to keep the old mattress inside your room somewhere.
