I am one of the students who's taken Computer Science 202 this past semester, and the common final exam for that class is from 8:30 to 10:30 pm tomorrow night. But... dorms close half an hour before that test *begins*. And check out closes at noon that day. You'd think students would be given decent times to move out once final exams were done. But... they aren't. Proof of how parts of the campus don't talk to each other... or of how little UMBC cares about its CS department (CMSC3XX classes were given in very few sections this semester, which filled up fast... along with the wait lists; I was lucky to get into even one, especially the vital one). Didn't we have something even worse last semester (*graduation* was held at the same time as some finals)? UMBC must not care about students who graduate in the winter either.
