Best off-campus housing options
For those who want decent rent, but don't want to get shot.

Hi there community,
I am exploring options for off-campus housing, and hopefully some of you commuters or alumni can help me out..
In mid-June and potentially very late May, I am looking to rent a 3 bedroom space within a few miles of UMBC and sub-let it to two other gentlemen. Now, I have done my research and found the multitude of apartments and developments available around UMBC. (Even some craigslisting!)
I would like to hear from you all though! What off-campus communities have you enjoyed living in? Did you feel safe? (See tagline) Was the rent decent? I know we're all trying to save some dough!!
Also, if you are looking to rent a room, send me an email @ schwarz3@umbc.edu. I am a young professional, UMBC alum and I consider myself a friendly guy. (My friends might debate that last bit..)
So if you have some know-how related to off-campus housing, please share! I would majorly appreciate it!
