Hello everyone,

I'm making this discussion because of what I personally experienced just a couple of hours ago as a warning to other students at UMBC - particularly towards girls. Also because I'm so damn fed up with sexual harassment aimed towards anyone! And I just don't want anyone to have to deal with it. No one should have to!

But the story is that as I was walking back from work along the inner loop tonight around 8:45pm, I walked by a car with its headlights on. But as soon as I was passed it, the headlights turned off and the man inside shouted to me. I turned around to find him masturbating and then he waved his erection at me while leering and smiling. As soon as I yelled and backed away, he took off and drove away.

Unfortunately I couldn't get his license plate but I do remember that he is a white male, most likely 18 to early twenties with dark brown or black hair. He was clean shaven at the time and did not wear glasses.  The car is a black car. Sorry, I know that's not too descriptive.

This is just a general warning, especially to any girls running at night or walking from walk like I do. Watch out if you do notice something like this. This guy did this in the light of the street, along the loop where the parking lot between the commons and Patapsco are.

If anyone has any similar stories or warnings, please share! We can try to make sure we know what or who to watch out for or places to avoid.
