Clubs/Organizations: Gaming and Asian Culture
Do we have them?

Does UMBC have a gaming club? Meaning a club where people share likes and dislikes, research, knowledge and stuff of games. Video games, computer games, (board games?), RPG, first-person shooter, whatever... I would like to join a club like that.
And is there a club for Asian culture (i.e. pop culture, Asian-American films, Kpop, Taiwanese dramas, Mainland Movies, etc.)? I am talking about a club about these things for people of all nationalities and ethnicities. Right now I only know UMBC has ethnic-specific Asian-related clubs.
Do we have clubs or organizations like this? If not, does anyone else share these interests?

I think there was some sort of Video Game Club that was coming into existence last year, but I'm not sure if it still exists now. I'd say I'm surprised that there's not a known Video Gaming club, but it seems like it would be really hard to make one that would appeal to a large group of people, since the video games themselves are so diverse. That said, I remember seeing a Tabletop Gaming club at Quadmania, though that's not exactly Video Games.
There IS an Anime Club, I've seen their ads across campus for their 24-hour anime marathon. I think there were video games and the like there, too. And I'm sure that at least some people in the Anime Club probably are fans of other things in the Asian cultures.
And then there are the tons of people that aren't involved in the clubs.
Of course people share those interests, it's UMBC. At least for me, it's actually really easy to find people with similar nerdy interests around campus...
