Okay, so complex backstory:
I applied for and was accepted into the Cyber Scholars program at UMBC. A friend of mine and I are trying to become roommates, however, he was not accepted into the Cyber Scholars program. I've heard a lot of talk about how this is supposed to work now, because I KNOW it is possible. Apparently he is to become a CWIT/Cyber Scholar affiliate and then we need to request each other as roommates. While I found the link to become a CWIT affiliate, the only other document I found regarding housing for freshmen whatsoever is the housing application, which is remarkably uninformative. Some of the dates i found during research also alarmed me; it seems like room selection day was earlier in April?? However, it seems this was only for current residents. I just accepted to UMBC yesterday, and am mailing in my acceptance of the Cyber Scholars Program tomorrow. I am currently on step 1 of the housing application, and my friend is on step 6.

I would really like a step by step guide (preferably with links) on how exactly to proceed now. Who do we call, how does this work, what are the dates, etc. Thanks!!
