UMBC spying/managing my home computer?!?
I think UMBC is controlling on my home pc's browser info!!!

So I got a new laptop and decided "Hey! I should download Google Chrome and sync my bookmarks!" and so I downloaded Chrome, signed into my secondary email (not my UMBC email), and saw that none of my bookmarks had synced from my home PC (a desktop). I checked my home PC for my Google account and saw it was signed into my UMBC account, so I think "Huh... I'll just sign into my secondary email and sync my bookmarks, right?" WRONG. My account was locked into my chrome browser and I couldn't disconnect the account from Chrome! So I dug a little deeper and found that my account was not only being administrated by UMBC on my home PC's browser, therefore being LOCKED and not being able to sign into any other accounts, but that all my browser information was being synced! I looked at my sync settings and my apps, autofill information, bookmarks, extensions, history, passwords, settings, and open tabs, EVERYTHING was being synced, and I couldn't select the settings to deny UMBC from syncing my information! Why in the heck is UMBC allowed to manage what information I have to share on my HOME COMPUTER? It's my property/business and they shouldn't be able to manage that!
Later on I found that I could delete the user from Chrome completely, but it also deletes all your saved settings! All my bookmarks and extensions were deleted when I deleted my UMBC account from Chrome. I log back into my UMBC account, and *poof* everything's back again. So in the end I'm left with two choices: deny UMBC sync/administrative priviliges on my personal PC's and gather all the bookmarks, apps, and other information I have had over the years FROM SCRATCH and re-apply them to my secondary email, or have my account and browser both be managed by UMBC and not be able to control what is synced and what is not. This really frustrates me that I can't currently think of a way to escape UMBC's restrictive grasp.
I could export the settings and bookmarks but I have not figured out a way how. If anyone could help me to find a way to export my current Chrome browser bookmarks, settings, etc. to my new account or even just my home PC I would greatly appreciate it.
If you have any questions just comment and I'll try to get to it.
