IAMA SGA Senate Candidate, Michael Lopresti. AMA

Hello everyone,
As the title of the post says, my name is Michael Lopresti, and I'm running for SGA Senate. I'm a junior majoring in biochemistry, and I'm applying to MD/PhD programs this summer.
I have been involved in SGA since my freshman year, and I am currently the Assistant Director of the Department of Community and Institutional Affairs in SGA.
I'm working on a lot of projects now, that I would like to continue if I were on Senate. These include:
- Improve campus safety
- Improve campus accessibility issues (including handicap accessibility, closing policy, drainage issues)
- Work as part of the Student Fee Advisory Board to try and maintain reasonable fees for students.
- Improve student contact with SGA
Feel free to ask me for more details about any of those initiatives, or something else entirely, like the enzymatic mechanisms between transketolase. This is an AMA after all.
