The UMBC Community recently received and  an email letting us know about the upcoming projects that will be happening at UMBC and a brief description of the projects. I have it attached and hopefully the embedded picture works. Is the school focusing the resources properly? 400 new spots is going to be really nice,and long overdue. While I still think that's still not going to be enough, It should help relieve what right now can be described as a abysmal parking situation for commuters. I won't get to experience it, I'm graduating in the Fall. The Fine Arts building needs a drastic makeover but I'm not sure the 'Campus Gateway' to the school needs to be reconstructed. It does get congested during the rush on campus in the morning and the rush when everyone wants to leave in the afternoon. I usually see a UMBC Police officer and traffic flows very nicely when they're directing traffic. Anyone else have any thoughts? 

Why do all the renovations happen when I leave a school? Montgomery College got campus wide WiFi, a new Math Building and a new Science Building.
