Hello everyone!

My name is Ganesh Mysore and I am running for SGA President this year. My running mate is the beautiful and talented Valerie Parks.

This is my third year at UMBC, and I study Chemical Engineering and Political Science. I've been involved in the SGA since my freshman year, first as a Senator, then in the executive branch. I ran for Vice President last year, with the glorious Max Barnhart. Even though we were not successful in our bid, we remained heavily involved with the SGA.

Some of my accomplishments include:

• Establishing the Student Fee Advisory Board to advocate for reasonable fee increases and expenditures that students have expressed the most support for.
  
• Spearheading the effort to allocate money towards the weight room renovation, and continuing to push for more emphasis on recreational athletics
  
• Advocating for a downtown bus route, which is being considered in this year's fee review process
• Ran this year's Prove It! competition, for which voting has closed. BUT the awards ceremony will be on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2 IN THE SPORTS ZONE DURING FREE HOUR. So come see what teams won $10,000 this year!
  

I live on campus, am a member of a fraternity and the Honors College, and like cheesy action movies.
