The department of environmental affairs at UMBC has recently been in touch with College Park's SGA department of environmental affairs. After such contact, we request UMBC students to sign the following petition requesting the university system of MD to research the financial implication of fossil fuel divestment. The petition solely calls for research with the potential future possibility of change.
