Oh, are you from Nigeria?
Do you speak African?
How come you sound different from all the other Africans?
Your English is good.
Have you ever seen any wild animals?
So you are Kenyan?. Are you a marathon runner?
But you are not black.
How is Idi Amin?
Do you know Kony?
These are but a few of the very common statements we Africans hear quite often. Having had enough, the Ithaca College African Students Association decided to do something about it.
You have to commend them for their ingenuity and resourcefulness. Their messages are both eye catching but also dead on.
