"Children's Joy Foundation"
Read if someone approached you saying "Sign your name"

Hello,
At around 6:30, someone approached me in the RLC with a "Children's Joy Foundation" paper and a notebook to "sign my name" to donate. They directed me to their website (http://cjfusa.org/) to show me about it.
A quick google search showed that the actual domain name for "Children's Joy Foundation" is childrensjoyfoundation.org, not the one they supplied. Looking through the info, the phone numbers were different, and domain name registration info was different:
They were also very pushy to have me sign my name.
Of course, I could be overthinking it, but it does seem very suspicious. I've sent an email to them asking whether or not they own the domain, I'll update when they reply.
Edit: It seems like the actual site may not be a scam, however I'm still a little skeptical of the person who came around asking.
