A Love Letter
...to the Good Ol' Days
posted almost 11 years ago
So here we are, yet again,
If I could take it back, I really would,
Another year with my old friend,
However, things seem different,Is it after the end?
Whatever happened to this zoo pen?
Arguments grew big and large,
and Little Erik thought he was in charge,
His ego was as big as a barge,
I once ironically called him sarge.
Now things are really dumb and slow
And honestly boring, as these forums go
There is no nobody who will say no
to those ignorant fools who disgust him so
I check the date, it was 9 months before,
but with our friend gone, it feels like more
His replacements, they seriously bore
Students for the Founders, what a chore
Adamsen remains, and he's okay,
His threads don't say much either way
We're supposed to get mad, but what can I say?
Try harder, bro. I'm tough to sway.
Eck is here and he's pretty close,
but honestly he's dumber than toast.
And super-dry when he writes his prose.
In real life it just sounds so morose.
Cockrell is a real swell guy,
He's not that funny, but at least he tries,
He attempts to make the online liberals cry,
But if you have a life, I dare ask "Why?"
But every yin has its yang
It's not just fundies that choose to hang
'around these parts to try and harangue
others into their views, like Bahn and gang
And by gang I just mean him, is RWDB really slang?
But I'm not perfect, I digress,
I'm like a chameleon who played cyber-chess,
With a great guy, one of the best.
With Erik Walker, a man to caress. (call me)
With Erik Walker, a man to caress. (call me)
But now he's working in fast food,
which puts me in a dour mood,
I missed when he used to be rude
Until I sadly got rid of the dude.
If I could take it back, I really would,
Those old times, they were really good,
When he invoked the wrath of the neighborhood,
On the ivory tower that he once stood.
Now I'm in a productive haze,
Losing weight and getting A's.
But I would gladly change my ways
If things returned to the good ol' days.
