Add A Car Counter Board To The Commons Parking Garage!
Sensored Parking Technology(SPT) for the Common Garage
posted almost 11 years ago
There are few things at UMBC that make campus life infuriating for commuting students. Not finding a parking spot is definitely one of them. The Commons parking garage is especially frustrating, as students have to drive through all those parking floors only to find NO PARKING SPOTS. My friend and I have decided that installing accurate low cost Entry/Exit sensors that counts the number of cars entering and exiting the garage while relaying that information via a medium sized billboard to incoming student is a great way to prevent waste of time and gas. We plan to submit over suggestion to the SGA's Prove It program. If you think this is a good idea, please kindly chip in your vote to support our idea.
Following the suggestions of some upstanding members of our UMBC society, the title of this discussion has been changed to reflect the aim of this discussion. Please paw and vote!
