So, gang, I have a group project coming up that involves a presentation on the perks and drawbacks of commuting and living on-campus.

Since we're trying to get as many perspectives as possible on this, I figured I'd throw the question out to the discussion boards just to see if anyone had a perspective to contribute on the subject.

If you want to share your opinion, relate your experience with college living (or that of someone you know), offer suggestions for improvement, or do anything else to help the cause, then by all means, feel free.

(The only restriction is that the issue of cost be overlooked; it's definitely an important factor, but it's not an issue we're tackling with the project.)
