After a semester at UMBC, I am convinced that it is not doing enough in terms of helping graduate students off set the high cost of tuition. I have been doing some research and I found out that there seems to be more assistance offered to graduate students in other schools... while UMBC, especially IS department in particular offers almost nothing! Surely, something needs to be done!! I am speaking on behalf of so many other grad students.
