Please Help: Fundraising for Haitians In Need

To the UMBC Community: 

Hello! My name is Michelle Czarnecki and I am a French major here at the university. I am currently taking French 340 and have studied Haitian history and culture. As such, I have become aware that Haiti suffers from a grave lack of medical supplies for the healthcare of the Haitian people following the earthquake and recent outbreaks of cholera and tuberculosis. The French 340 class has, therefore, collaborated with the American organization Partners in Health to raise funds for, acquire, and distribute much-needed supplies to the Haitian people for their medical care to help them heal from the cholera, tuberculosis, and many other health concerns, such as healthcare for women and children.. En effet, j'ai appris que l'Haïti souffert d'une pénurie sérieuse des fournitures médicales après le tremblement de terre de 2010. La classe de Français 340, donc, s’est associé à  l'organisation américaine Partners in Health pour des fonds pour l’aide médicale considérant les épidémies de la choléra et la tuberculose .
