At a forum on governance that took place a couple of years ago in Sydney (Yes, that's in Australia) one of the panelists, a respected psychologist, had opined that desire to rule over a nation of people is  a pathological one, and by extension, those who want to be President are pretty much certifiable psychopaths.  Then again, every little kid dreams of being either a space explorer (fairly healthy pursuit) or President of United States.  How old were you when you realized that you will not be the President?
