Commuter Students are Spoiled
Are they? What do you think?

In a recent discussion with a high-level person in the UMBC administration, I was told that commuter students at UMBC are spoiled because of the abundance of parking close to campus.
Really?
We're spoiled? I know people who commute from as little as 5 minutes away to upwards of an hour or more each way. That's a lot of time spent in the car, then finding parking, and then walking to class. Personally, I can't afford to live on campus, even with loans, scholarships, and grants. In that same sentiment, one could view the students who love ON campus as spoiled.
What do you think? Are the UMBC commuter students spoiled?

Try to guess the person in the university administration - though I won't confirm or deny any guesses.
