Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Lambda Phi Chapter

The Luminous Lambda Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was chartered in November 1977 on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County by 15 dedicated women. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is the first historically African American Greek-letter sorority. The mission is to be of service to all mankind.
