Basic Research Tips

There are so many opportunities at UMBC for research. Research can be one of the most rewarding events of your college career, as well as looking great on your resume.

A tip for finding researching: ASK YOUR PROFESSORS!

Go on your various professor's profile's on UMBC's webpage. Read about what they are working in their labs or various other types of research. Find one that you are particularly interested in and get in connect with the professor. Express your interest in the lab and ask about opportunities.

Who knows, you may find everything you were missing in your college experience was working in a lab or doing some sort of field research.
