The Alex. Brown Center has an opportunity for students who are passionate about entrepreneurship! We are hiring Student Entrepreneurship Ambassadors, also referred to
as SEAs!
SEAs will help engage the entrepreneurship community at UMBC through events and campus-wide programming. Members of the group will serve as the student voice of the Alex. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ABCEI), and will be advocates for entrepreneurship programs across campus. The deadline to apply is THIS FRIDAY, April May 9th.

From Monday, 5/5 through Thursday, 5/15 each of the State's benefit plan vendors will share carrier specific information about their $0-cost wellness resources. Most vendors will offer 2 sessions each day, giving you the flexibility to join as many sessions as you want.
And, that’s not all! Join in for fun wellness games like trivia, wordle, and jeopardy. For every session you attend, you'll be entered into a raffle to win prizes. The more sessions you join, the greater your chances of winning!

Jen White-Johnson is a disabled and neurodivergent artist and designer educator who centers Black disabled joy and futures in her work, informed by disability justice and Black feminist disability framework. Jen has presented her disability justice activist work and collaborated with a number of brands and art spaces across print and digital such as Target, Coachella and Adobe Design. Jen’s work is also permanently archived at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the National African American Museum of History and Culture in DC. Jen holds a BA in Visual Art from The University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and a MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she also imparts her knowledge as a current instructor, Jen resides in Baltimore, MD, with her husband and 11-year-old son.
Come join us as we celebrate AAPI Month with an exciting panel discussion featuring Asian American entrepreneurs! You'll hear personal stories, challenges, and successes from a diverse group — from stationery company owners to influencers — sharing how they built their brands and businesses.
