VART major, Nicolle Konkel, who is in the Art History and Museum Studies concentration, just received a paid internship titled, the "James Lollar Hagan Internship," http://americanhistory.si.edu/getinvolved/internship/james-lollar-hagan-internship at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History (NMAH)

Niki will be working on an upcoming exhibition at the NMAH titled, Entertaining America. Her work will involve researching objects in the collection, as well as graphics and media for the exhibition. Niki is also charged with collecting feedback from visitors to the NMAH about the upcoming exhibition, to help curators develop the exhibition concept and programing.

This is a great way for students to network and meet contacts that could provide career opportunities after the campaign.
