I would appeal to all of us "rec' swimmers, who do this for our health and fitness to appeal to Athletics to extend the MWF hours to at least 75 minutes and to have at least a 75 minute period on T/Th mid-day.

- Recruit and train service-learning students
- Drive s-l student to College Gardens on a weekly basis
- Act as liaison between Shriver Center staff, College Gardens staff and service-    learning students
- Lead 2 reflections sessions
- Attend Bi-Weekly Student Coordinator meetings

Qualifications: Valid Drivers License, Enrolled at UMBC
Preferred Qualification: Experience with youth or youth programming, excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in Prac 096.

MS SWIM: Friday 1pm-4pm: 
A unique program run out of the Y in Catonsville.  MS Swim asks service-learning students assist  adults with MS through stretches in the pool.

Workforce Recruitment Program
The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities (WRP), coordinated by the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and the U.S. Department of Defense, is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal and private sector employers with highly motivated college students, graduate students, and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs.

Eligible students must:
- have a disability and be eligible under the Schedule A hiring authority
- be a United States citizen
- be enrolled in a degree program on a substantially full-time basis OR have graduated with a degree in April 2018 or more recently.

We hope students and faculty will join us for our Welcome Week event in Fine Arts 558 South on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 12-1 p.m. You will have an opportunity to meet Dr. Oyen, and to say goodbye to Dr. Julie Oakes, Asian Studies Interim Director.

Please note that our conference room is only accessible via the elevator or stairs closest to the Engineering Building. A light lunch will be served.
