INTERN THIS SUMMER AT BPC

BPC has a robust summer internship program. Interns work full time and are assigned to a specific BPC project or functional area. Summer interns will receive a $2,500 stipend for ten weeks of work and must be rising juniors or above, but are not required to be enrolled in school at the time of application. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply, but must have a valid work permit or visa verifying eligibility to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship.
Interns provide administrative support, assist with events and meetings, conduct research and assist with the development and writing of reports, white papers and proposals. While interns work closely with their project teams, there are also opportunities to learn from and be exposed to the wide range of issues addressed by the organization.

NIH-funded post-baccalaureate training program
The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) announces Pathway to Graduate Study Program (PGSP) is now accepting applications!
Funded by NIH, the post-baccalaureate training program prepares students with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the Physical or Life Sciences or Bachelor's or Master's in Public Health or related social sciences degree for doctoral study in the biomedical sciences.
PGSP trainees receive:
- Financial support to attend and present at national scientific and career development meetings
- Networking events with UMMS leaders, as well as other local and regional leaders in academia and industry
- Close interaction with UMMS Center for Biomedical Career Development

The Opportunities in Genomics Research (OGR) is an NIH-funded research program at the McDonnell Genome Institute (genome.wustl.edu) at Washington University in St. Lous (genome.wustl.edu) seeking underrepresented students who want to pursue PhD's in genomics and related fields.
Description
Programs are familial and provide individualized attention in a rigorous research environment. Alumni of the program have been accepted to Harvard, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, Yale and Washington University at St. Louis.
Research Areas
Areas of research students have pursued include: genomics, bioinformatics, cancer biology, microbiology, developmental biology, cell biology and physiology. Applications from students with varied interests are encouraged to apply.
Housing, travel expenses, and stipend are provided!
Undergraduate Research Scholars (10 wks.)
