Fitness Basics Spring into Fitness
Make physical activity a part of your life in 2011!

Join us this spring for a weekly Fitness Basics Class. Experts recommend that you get at least thirty minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise each day to stay fit and healthy. We will combine heart healthy walking intervals with basic strength and endurance exercise to get a full body workout. In addition, participants will receive periodic fitness assessments to help them track their progress, fitness tips to help them set and reach their goals, and a group of workout buddies to motivate them!
Class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the RAC indoor track, and runs for six weeks. Preregistration is required. Participants will be given a start up package with pedometer, water bottle, and exercise band. Consistent attendance is highly recommended, but flexibility is also available.
